How do I download a Facebook video?
Copy the video link with Facebook's Share → Copy link button, paste it above and press Download. Then choose an MP4 quality, for example 1080p HD.
Which Facebook links work?
Video links (facebook.com/watch/?v=…), page videos, Reels (facebook.com/reel/…), fb.watch links, and facebook.com/share/v/ or share/r/ links. Private content and active live streams are unavailable.
Why does a high-quality download take a moment to start?
Some Facebook qualities store video and audio separately. We join them into one MP4 while it downloads, which takes a few seconds to start. The file is ready to play as soon as it is saved.
Where are downloaded videos saved on my phone?
On Android they go to the Downloads folder. On iPhone, Safari saves them to the Files app under Downloads; open the video and tap Share → Save Video to move it to Photos.
Is SnapFB free?

Are the files stored on your server?
No. Files are streamed from Facebook through our server to your device as they download and are never saved on disk.
Can I download private, members-only or age-restricted videos?
No. Only public videos can be downloaded. Private, members-only and age-restricted videos need a signed-in Facebook account, so they are not accessible.
Is it legal to download Facebook videos?
Downloading is fine for your own uploads and for videos the creator allows you to save, for example under a Creative Commons licence. For anything else, check the creator's permission and Facebook's terms, and never re-upload other people's videos as your own.
